St. Louis-Lensed FOUR COLOR EULOGY Plays at Ronnie’s Beginning April 8th

The St. Louis theater community gets a chance to shine on the silver screen thanks to Hollywood veteran Wyatt Weed, Pirate Pictures and St. Louis’ Archlight Studios. A red-carpet event with cast and crew will kick off FOUR COLOR EULOGY’s one-week run at Wehrenberg Ronnie’s 20 Cine on April 8th. Tickets are currently available online or at Ronnie’s 20 box office.

Congratulations to the team responsible for “Four Color Eulogy” which has been picked up by Ronnie’s Cinema and will screen for one week beginning April 8th. The film, produced by Pirate Films and Archlight Studios, features Jason Contini, Jessica Laney, Nicholas J. Hearne, John Contini and Amy Loui among others. It is directed and edited by Wyatt Weed. Gayle Gallagher, Jason Contini and Nicholas J. Hearne produced.

St. Louis International Film Festival wraps up this weekend but not before a film shot in St. Louis is shown. SLIFF describes “Four Color Eulogy” is a “dramatic comedy that shows it’s never too late to let go of the past or to create a new future.”

The 23rd Annual Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF) will be held Nov. 13-23 and screen 389 films: 89 narrative features, 76 documentary features, and 224 shorts. This year’s festival has 239 screenings/programs, with 69 countries represented.

Local theater family involved in STL movie shoot”

A prominent name in STL theater soon will be seen on the big screen.
Shooting began last week on “Four Color Eulogy,” a story developed by Jason Contini and his father, John Contini.
Both Continis have starred in numerous local theater productions, and the elder Contini was a drama director for years at Notre Dame, St. Mary’s and Rosati-Kain high schools.
The movie is about a comic-book artist (Jason Contini) from south St. Louis who returns home when his mother becomes ill. John Contini plays a bartender and mentor to the comic-book artist.
